I purchased this game after a lot of decision making on whether or not to buy Rocksmith Guitar. I did not own or even played a guitar before so I purchased the bundle for the 360. Rocksmith Guitar that comes with it is a low end cheap guitar but in my opinion it’s perfect for someone who knows nothing about guitar. Rocksmith Guitar is very simple. 1 humbucker, 1 tone knob, 1 volume knob.
Rocksmith Guitar Detail Review
The guitar bundled with Rocksmith is a Epiphone Les Paul Jr. Epiphone is basically a Gibson but made overseas and without the refinement. Think of it this way, if Gibson had studied music at Julliard, Ephiphone would have gone to state college.s
If you’ve taken guitar lessons and have been annoyed by the slow, disorganized lesson progression of an unqualified ex-hippy burnout teacher, and have abandoned trying to learn because of such fools, try this–it’s no hippy. And why this is not a game, it’s learning to play a real guitar. I bought the kit with the guitar and it’s a nice one. You pay $80 just for the game, the guitar at $120 is a steal! Heavy and decent quality.
Lots of people complain about the track selection but these tracks were chosen for a reason, ease of play. It starts you off on a song that is designed for beginners and then builds from there. There was alot of thought put into these tracks and the progression of the play. But, I will say you will definately get alot of good from this Rocksmith Guitar and having loads of fun in the process.

All in all this is a very good quality guitar. Considering the game retails without the guitar for $80 and $200 with I would say the price is fair.. There is so much to say about the game, but I’m limited on time. I just wanted to get a quick review out for anyone considering the game so that you can know this Rocksmith guitar worth buying.
